Our approach
Human beings are valuable – no matter where they come from, despite what they have or have not done and regardless of how they view themselves.
A person’s worth is not wrapped up in their history, their culture, race or gender (though those are important to understand), but rather an intrinsic worth given to each of us through the mere act of existing.
My most important job as your therapist is to accept you where you are and help you get to where you want to be. However, it is not just my job. It is also my moral imperative as a fellow human being.
Your unique story, personality, likes and dislikes, dreams and visions are important.
If you are ready to tell your story and perhaps begin to write a new chapter, consider allowing me to bear witness to your process and help guide you. I fully realize it can be anxiety provoking and scary to open up to a stranger. I will ultimately encourage you to share yourself because what we keep secret can become heavy and take on a life and a power of it’s own. Releasing our secrets causes them to lose their power over us – our thoughts, our emotions, our choices.
As you navigate this website you will find answers to many questions you no doubt have including: what IS therapy, what kind of therapist am I, and how does it all get paid for? If these questions are not answered, and even if they are and you have more, please reach out.
